fter dedicating years to her role as an assistant manager at an NGO in Pune, Anita, a 52-year-old with a master's in social service, decided it was time to prioritize her own desires. In 2020, she left her job with the intention of joining her son in Canada, but the pandemic disrupted her plans.

The sudden shift from a bustling schedule to being at home presented its challenges. Accustomed to working late and commuting to Mumbai twice a week, Anita found herself in a new routine. She assisted her former company with online events, providing a temporary anchor.

In her quest for engagement, Anita discovered GetSetUp, where she started attending virtual yoga classes in the evenings. Reflecting on her experience, she expressed, "The GetSetUp platform keeps you going and motivated. It teaches you new things. It takes away your loneliness." The community aspect was significant for her; she made friends virtually and even participated in a fashion show, describing the experience as "awesome."

For Anita, the platform became a source of energy and companionship, providing a space to learn, connect, and share. One class that stood out for her was Dr. Divya S.'s, which she found psychologically enriching.

When asked about her favorite class, Anita pointed to Bhavani's sessions, praising the practical solutions offered. She appreciated the tangible results that could be immediately seen.

As someone who embraces change and values the carefree attitude of the younger generation, Anita refrains from giving advice. Instead, she admires their ability to let go and live in the moment. She maintains a close friendship with her son and his friends, acknowledging their refreshing perspective on life.

Anita's life mantra is simple yet profound: "Live and let others live. You be happy, and then you will make others happy." Her journey of self-love includes embracing experimentation, symbolized by her decision to stop coloring her hair at the age of 45. Her advice? "Keep experimenting!"
