Recipe 1 : Milk cream (Christmas sweet)
Ingredients
1/2 litre milk
50 gms powdered nuts
150 gms sugar
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Method
Heat milk until it reduces by half, then remove it from the heat. Add sugar, return it to low heat on a griddle until it thickens. Incorporate butter, powdered nuts, and vanilla essence, cooking until the mixture pulls away from the sides. Allow it to cool, pour into molds, and set. For the walnuts, blanch them in hot water for 15 to 30 minutes, then place them on a plate and microwave on high for 1 minute. After cooling, powder the walnuts.
Recipe 2: Rose cookies
Ingredients
1 cup white flour,
1 egg,
3 1/2 tbsp sugar,
1 glass milk,
pinch of soda bi-carb,
pinch of jalebi color
(makes around 45-50).
Method
Whisk the eggs and sugar thoroughly with a fork, then gradually incorporate milk and flour, ensuring a smooth mixture without any lumps. Integrate the jalebi color thoroughly. Just before frying, add a pinch of soda bicarb. It is recommended to fry the mixture in ghee for a richer flavor or in sunflower oil.
