Spandana’s adventure with GetSetUp began when her friend suggested joining the platform, after which there was no looking back; she joined various fitness, yoga, wellness, cooking, and more sessions. Although GetSetUp has been more than just a learning platform for Spandana—it has been a space for creating deep and enduring connections. The virtual chai sessions and lunch meets turned into laughter-filled encounters with peers, many of whom have become close friends.
One of the many highlights of Spandana's experience was the opportunity to share her culinary heritage through the GetSetUp Kitchen: A Global Culinary Journey Cookbook. Her nostalgic “Bajra Ki Khichdi,” a recipe passed down from her mother, became a star in one of our community cookbooks. The book for Spandana was a way to celebrate her culture and share a piece of her history with others.
